I believe most of you will enjoy this Galaxy. You might recall that M31 is the Andromeda Galaxy that is (according to scientists) moving directly towards an encounter with the Milky Way (our home) in a few million years. The other two satellite galaxies are M32 and M110. In the past, the smaller probably has passed through a part of M31. I shot this on October of 2015 at a Star Party on the Meador Ranch outside Eldorado TX. I was using a small telescope (72mm lens to get the wide field needed for M31. It was an excellent night for imaging. They have some very nice clear skies in the fall. Hope you enjoy.

Yes Dave, those are mine also. I was really happy with this image as that Astro Tech Quad 66mm Refractor fit the entire image in one pic. But due to the light gathering ability it took a lot of time for exposures.

M31 and (IC 434 / Barnard 33) are my two favorites to photograph. Nice photograph.
