Johnny,
This and the other comet shots you have been posting are a delight to behold.
Many thanks for sharing these magnificent images!
Jeff McClure Hey Guys, Comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner passed in front of M35 early this morning. Good thing I didn't listen to my weather radio that was reporting cloudy skies at all stations. Hey Guys,
Comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner passed in front of M35 early this morning. Good thing I didn't listen to my weather radio that was reporting cloudy skies at all stations. I got out around 4:30 am to partly cloudy skies. But, as I waited, I was blessed with clear skies in the area to my east around 5:30 am. That gave me about 45 min. before the beginning of twilight. Hey
Guys, Comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner passed in front of M35 early this
morning. Good thing I didn't listen to my weather radio that was reporting
cloudy skies at all stations. I got out around 4:30 am to partly cloudy skies.
But, as I waited, I was blessed with clear skies in the area to my east around
5:30 am. That gave me about 45 min. before the beginning of twilight. This
image is a combination of two 45 sec. I had to skew the comet to one side
because I wanted to include the smaller open cluster NGC 2158 that appears to
the upper right of the image, which barely fit in my cameras' 41 X 28 min.
