Excellent work, Aubrey. I was thoroughly impressed with both the fine details and the color!

GOT A FEW GOOD NIGHTS IN DECEMBER AT THE MEYER FIELD AND GOT ABOUT 3 HOURS OF THE TRIANGULUM GALAXY. THIS IS ABOUT 2.9 MLY FROM US. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE GRAVITATIONALY BOUND TO M31 AND HEADING FOR IT WHILE AT THE SAME TIME M 31 IS HEADING FOR US. THE TRIANGULUM IS ABOUT ONE HALF THE SIZE OF THE MILKY WAY GALAXY.

ENJOY.

Very good Johnny, thanks.

You are right. My camera on the 10" RC is a little over 0.5 degrees so it captures the majority of the visible part of M33. The outer limbs are fairly faint and so you see most of the good stuff. I have read that there are gas tracers going between M31 and M33 which indicates that they are gravitationally bound to each other. I am sure my set up is not capable of seeing those limbs.

M33 occupies just over a degree of space in our night sky and you managed to capture a good majority of it with vivid detail. Just imagine what it would look like if it was as large as our Milky Way-awesome!

Great job, Aubrey
