Events - Event View

This is a week long event on the field of Meyer Observatory for members and their family from Oct. 12 to Oct. 16. Members are invited to set up and camp during the week for observing or astrophotography. Rules will apply to social distancing and masks as well as no white light rules. Members will need to be self contained as no food will be provided. Members can camp or come and go as long as they ar in place before dark and leave car parked outside the field for leaving early at night. Registration is required 1. FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES 2. FOLLOW ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MASK RULES 3. FOLLOW NO WHITE LIGHT AFTER DARK RULES 4. USE OF RED FILTERS ON ALL LAPTOPS DURING NIGHT 5. USE OF RED LIGHTS IN MOVING AROUND. 6. NO WHITE LIGHT FROM VEHICLES Registration cancellations will be accepted.
